JailHost
Know just what exactly ‘JailHost’ stands for. Find out the benefits associated with activating this feature for your hosted domains.
If you host multiple websites within the very same account and one of them is hacked, it's likely that all of them will get hacked after that. There're several reasons why this may happen, the two most common are: using very weak passwords or using out-of-date scripts with known weaknesses. That way, just a single compromised site can do a lot of damage to all of your Internet sites, as getting access to one script usually allows hackers to access the Internet hosting account. This is the reason why we've introduced a new security option called JailHost. Once activated, this feature will literally lock an Internet site inside its folder, so if an attacker takes over it, the other Internet sites in the account will be hidden. Thus they will be shielded from further intrusion. The JailHost option doesn't suggest that you should not keep your Internet sites up to date, but it'll greatly minimize the damage.

JailHost in Cloud Web Hosting
You can take advantage of JailHost with every single
cloud web hosting plan that we offer and protect your sites against attacks really easy. Every single domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel which comes with our plans has a separate folder and contrary to what often happens with many other Control Panels, the content isn't mixed up in just a single main folder, so keeping your websites separate will be much easier. Activating JailHost for any website takes only a few clicks, so even if you don't have a lot of experience, you will not need any special skills to be able to keep your Internet sites protected. The option is not active by default in case that you'd like to use a script which needs accessibility to a different folder in your account. In case you use JailHost, the remaining Internet sites that you have will be protected, but even a hacked one won't remain damaged for too long as we'll have several daily backups for it all of the time, so we could easily restore it.
